RECOFTC in Thailand

RECOFTC in Thailand

Over the last 25 years RECOFTC activities have built on community engagement to a stage where the Center now supports the continuing development of the vibrant national Community Forestry Network. In partnership with the network, the Royal Forest Department (RFD), the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) and the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMRC), RECOFTC will continue to develop capacities, undertake action research, implement innovative pilot projects, raise awareness about community forestry and involve in policy processes.

RECOFTC is acknowledged as a neutral party for discussion and learning with long experience in CF management and networks. It will continue to explore new and collaborative funding opportunities, and wherever possible to integrate activities in Thailand to regional sharing, learning and networking opportunities.
