This course is designed for practitioners seeking to expand their “toolkit” for addressing Joint Mitigation and Adaptation (JMA). In addition to covering the basic theoretical foundations of JMA, this course will explore innovative and practical strategies for its implementation. This will be done by drawing extensively on community forestry experiences with JMA in the region, including an optional field trip to one of RECOFTC’s demonstration sites on the Gulf of Thailand.
