This publication has been developed to provide support to local trainers and facilitators who are engaged in delivering REDD+ and climate change training and capacity development.

This question and answer booklet is based on the principle that indigenous peoples and other local communities have the right to self-determination and to give or withold their free, prior and informed consent (FPIC) to externally proposed projects, which may affect their livelihoods, access to land resources, and socio-cultural values and norms. In particular context of REDD+, the 10 questions and answers discussed in this booklet are designed in response to the growing need to contribute to the social and environmental safeguards of REDD+.

This is the Bahasa Indonesia version of the booklet. For Lao language, Nepali, Myanmar language and Vietnamese versions of this publication, see the Grassroots Capacity Building for REDD+ project page.
