Update: Training on Sustainable Forest Management for Forest Technicians and Local Resource Persons (LRP)

The field activities of participants were guided and supervised by facilitating organization including RECOFTC -NCP and were confirmed for certification. All the participants were rewarded with certificates at the end of the session.

RECOFTC- NCP

The training instigated on 14th March entitled 'Sustainable Forest Management for Forest Technicians and Local Resource Person' was successfully concluded on 23rd March, 2019. The training was intended with the crux objective of facilitating Local Resource Persons (LRP) and Forest Technicians with practical application of sustainable forest management skills in Terai- Arc Landscape. During those 10 days long training sessions, the trainees were equipped with FM technique and tools including practical knowledge on management planning; and harvesting and logging.

All the partakers (16 Male and 9 Female) of the training session well practiced trees felling and logging technique with power chain saw.
